There will be candy cane handouts\, visits\, and free photos with Santa. \n  \nThe Annual Tree Lighting Tradition\n\nThe annual tree lighting will be led by Carlsbad Mayor-Elect Keith Blackburn at 4:30\, just as it’s getting dark. Carlsbad Village is your destination for a skele-ton of excitement! 👻 \n🍭 Trick-or-Treat Fun: Visit @calresinc (2691 State Street) from 2:00-4:00 pm for a complimentary drawstring backpack (while supplies last). Snap some selfies and enjoy face painting before embarking on your candy quest. \n🍬 Business-to-Business Trick-or-Treating: Look for businesses with a candy corn icon in their window for safe trick-or-treating. Many downtown shops will have treats\, too! Check out @carlsbadvillage’s mobile walking map to find candy stops. If you’re a business interested in participating\, contact chanel@carlsbad-village.com.\n \n🎥 Boys & Girls Club Fun: Don’t miss @bgc_carlsbadvillage’s Halloween-themed games\, a pumpkin patch fundraiser and a family-friendly movie starting at 6:30 pm (3115 Roosevelt Street). Tickets are available in advance at the clubhouse or at the door ($2 for game tickets and $1 for food/drink options). \nSchedule of Activities at The Village Faire:\n2:00 pm – 5:00 pm: DJ Music and Photo Booth\nDance to the eerie beats and strike your best poses at our photo booth. The atmosphere will be electrifying! \n3:00 pm – 4:15 pm DJ Ironman Performance\nDon’t miss the incredible DJ Ironman\, who will be spinning tunes while dressed as the iconic Iron Man. Get your cameras ready for a chance to snap pictures with this superhero DJ! \n4:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Halloween Costume Contest\nCalling all ghouls\, witches\, and superheroes! Enter our Halloween Costume Contest for a chance to win fantastic prizes. We have categories for all ages\, including toddlers\, kids\, and teens. Plus\, there’s a category for the best group or family-themed costume and even one for the best furry pet (dog) costume! \n5:15 pm – 6:00 pm: Comedy Magic Show with Jim Hynd\nPrepare to be amazed and entertained by the magical talents of Jim Hynd. Laughter and wonder await you at this captivating show. \nIn addition to these exciting activities\, our Village Faire tenants will join in on the fun by handing out candy to all our trick-or-treaters.
