The COAL Gallery represents member artists of the Carlsbad-Oceanside Art League with monthly shows, quarterly themed shows and an annual (March) Member Show. The Gallery additionally hosts an annual Open Show in August, drawing artists from the entire San Diego, Orange, and Riverside counties in a juried competitive show. The COAL Gallery is a non-profit organization promoting art education and the cultural appreciation of fine art in the community through scholarships for student artists, children’s art shows, high school art shows, and monthly demonstrations funded in part by the City of Carlsbad.
